What we know about the couple who died in Seven Fields murder-suicide

The couple killed in what police called an apparent murder-suicide Tuesday, April 28, in Seven Fields and Cranberry Township was married about 19 months, according to their wedding registry.

Madeline Spatafore, 25, and Ryan Hosso, 26, were married in September 2024 in Wooster, Ohio, according to theknot.com. State police in Butler said Hosso killed his wife and then called his parents to admit to the killing. He then shot himself in a wooded area behind their Graywyck Drive home, police said.

Spatafore was found in the home with multiple gunshot wounds, police said. Hosso’s parents live out of the state, but worked to find his local police department to report the call.
